Department of Mechanical Engineering organized three days hands on training on Traditional Making of Areca Leaf Plates, Cups and Spoons to the Farming Community from 16.07.2019 to 18.07.2019. Dr.P.Suresh, Professor & COE. Brief about training. Dr.M.Matheshwaran, Principal, MEC focused on the necessity of Traditional Making of Areca Leaf Plates, Cups and Spoons. The Traditional Making of Areca Leaf products are brings the right solution for the replacement of plastic usage. Therefore the farmers are needed to come forward for making these kinds of natural products. And more than 50 formers were participated and benefitted through this training.
