icon Overview

The Department of Chemical Engineering offers a 4 Year B.Tech Chemical Engineering Programme which is affiliated to Anna University. Chemical Engineering combines Chemical Reaction Engineering, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Process Control, Environment and Sustainability. It helps the students to develop their knowledge at a molecular level, through application of expertise in large-scale or industrial environments. Chemical Engineers design the process to produce, transform and transport materials to become usable and useful end products.
