The Department of Physics and Science club at Muthayammal Engineering College organized the Invited Talks-MIST -2023 on the topic “Frontier of Nanostructured Materials: Advancements and Challenges”. The event featured Dr. P. Periasamy, an Associate Professor from Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, as the Resource Person. This talk provided a valuable platform for fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and inspiring further research in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Dr. Periasamy covered a wide range of topics, including an introduction to nanoscience and nanotechnology, as well as the fundamental synthesis techniques. He also emphasized the recent significant applications of nanotechnology.
