Networking and UNIX
Networking and UNIX laboratory equipped with centralized air conditioned and 60 Computers with latest configuration. The laboratory Computers loaded with Free Open Source Software like, VMWare and ESXi Operating Systems includes XAMPP and Virtual Lab Programs. This laboratory includes student PCs and one instructor PC. All desktop PCs have Microsoft Windows 10 includes Internet Explorer, Google chrome, Adobe Photoshop and Media Players. Wired and Wireless Internet Access, Printers, Scanners and Projectors are accessible for the benefit of the students. Total area of the laboratory covers 1215 square feet.
Visualization and Graphics Laboratory
Visualization and Graphics Lab provides virtual experiments to understand the different concepts of graphics and many Open Source Projects using Open Source Package. Lab is equipped with 60 Hi-end Desktop Computer and centralized Air Conditioned. The Lab also utilized for Java Training Program and Salesforce Training Program from ICT Academy. Students are allowed to use the labs for their Placement activity and NPTEL Learning for enrich their knowledge in Emerging Technology
DBMS and Web Technology Lab
RDBMS laboratory is used by students to create and interact with the database. This laboratory is equipped with 30 computers with various RDBMS packages ORACLE-11g and MySQL. The oracle client software is installed in all the machines and the ORACLE-11g server software is installed in a server computer. Web Technology is mainly utilized by the students for developing Dynamic Web Applications using the tools like Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. The Students are also facilitated to use the freely available Open Source Tools like XAMPP/WAMP Servers.
Cloud and Mobile Computing
This laboratory has High Configuration with core i7 Processors. This laboratory is utilized by the students to learn and develop Cloud Environment using CloudSim. This laboratory was established as Centre of excellence of Internet of Things (IoT) in collaboration with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), NIT, Trichy. It provides a platform for developing IoT applications and working with Mobile Communication related experiments.
