TECH FIESTA 2018

TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM “TECH FIESTA 2018” was organized by the Department of Information Technology on 29.09.2018 at 09.30 am in Seminar Hall II. Symposium activities were inaugurated with the prayer song and by lighting the kuthuvilakku. Mr.E.Punarselvam, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering and the Chief Guest, Dr.S.R.Pandian, Coordinator (TLC) and Dean (Planning), IIITDM, Chennai. Honorable Secretary, Dr.K.Gunasekaran delivered the presidential address. Our beloved Principal, Dr.Nirmala delivered the principal address and honoured the chief guest with the bouquet and a memento. The chief guest emphasized about the importance of professional education, the expectations of companies from engineering students and the steps to improve the skill sets to compete in the IT industry. He thanked the college, department, staff members and students for their effort in making the event a great success. Various events were conducted and prizes were given to the participants.
