A Student Tech Talk on “OCR” was delivered by Ms. S.Tejaswini (III year ECE – A, 17EC051) on 14th December 2019 to volunteer of III rd year ECE Students. Here they discuss Optical Character Recognition of electronic and mechanical conversion of images of typed, handwritten into machine-encoded text, whether from a scanned document, a photo of a document. Application of OCR-banking , legal, healthcare, education. Challenges in OCR. This presentation impressed most our students.
