ROLE OF ROUTERS AND SWITCHES IN DATA COMMUNICATION AND NETWORKING USING CISCO PACKET TRACER

Chief Guest Dr. V.Jayaprakasan, M.E., Ph.D (JNTUA), SMIEEE, LMISTE , Treasurer, IEEE Madras Section ( 2018 – 2019 ) Chairman ,conducted “The National Workshop about The Role of Routers and Switches In Data Communication And Networking” and conducted the workshop in Cisco packet Tracer on 20-12-2019.This workshop expounds the fundamental concepts of Routing and Switching in Data Communication and Networking. This workshop briefly expounds the booming expertise of Communication & Networking and interconnection of network nodes with simulation. The students gained comprehensive understanding of Role of Intermediate devices (Switches and Routers) and their functions in layered structure with different layers of protocols in Packet Tracer simulation.
