Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the workshop on Recent Trends In Industrial Automation. Mr. K.ELANCHEZHIAN, Assistant Manager – Technical, Prolific Systems & Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore presented a guest lecture top the third year mechanical engineering students. He explained the significance of automation in industries, the current trends prevailing in industrial automation, the skills required for the engineers to get involved in industrial automation, the hardware and software required for automation and the language skills required for automation. He also elaborated on the job opportunities for the students in this field. More than 120 students participate and benefitted through this event.
