The Department of Science and Humanities at Muthayammal Engineering College (Autonomous) organized a seminar on “Nanomaterial Science for Engineering Applications” as part of the National Science Day celebrations for first-year B.E. and B.Tech students on February 28, 2025.
Dr. D. Vasantha Raj, Assistant Professor (Senior Grade), Department of Physics, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, delivered an insightful lecture on the latest advancements in nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and applications across diverse fields such as medicine, electronics, energy, and environmental science. He emphasized the transformative potential of nanotechnology while also addressing key challenges and ethical considerations associated with its development and application.
