“Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain”

Ministry of Jal Shakti is taking up a nation-wide campaign “Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain” focusing on saving and conserving rainwater with the theme “Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls” from 29th March 2022 to 30th November 2022 covering both urban and rural areas of all the districts in the country.

As a part of the “Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain” campaign, a massive awareness drive was Organized by Muthayammal Engineering College, Rasipuram, Namakkal between 20th July 2022 to 22nd July 2022.

During the campaign, Faculty and Students of Muthayammal Engineering College visited the nearby villages and issued the pamphlets to the public’s to create awareness towards water conservation and water resource management.
