The Department of Master of Business Administration organized a guest lecture on the topic of “Evolution of Fin Tech and its Effect in the Banking Sector” on 02.11.2023. Mr. S. Balamurugan, Assistant General Manager of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Chennai, graced the event as the resource person. During the lecture, Mr. S. Balamurugan discussed various aspects such as Cyber Security, Conversational Banking, and the Barter System. He also talked about the non-existent “SHEL Company” and emphasized the significant differences between regulation (rules) and supervision (observation). The guest lecture saw active participation from both students and staff members.
