Important! You must Install an SSL Certificate to use the Internet / Wi-Fi within Campus.
You only need to do this once per device.
This will eliminate connection errors to Secure Websites.
Import the Certificate to macOS:
1.Open Keychain Access (via Spotlight search).
2.Select the System keychain in the left-hand column.
3.Go to File > Import Items or drag and drop the downloaded certificate file into the System keychain.
4.Locate the imported certificate starting with (e.g., “FG2…………”), right click on this certificate,.
5.Expand the Trust section and Change “When using this certificate” to Always Trust.
Browser-Specific Configuration:
1.Safari/Chrome: The certificate should work immediately after trusting it in the Keychain.
2.Firefox: Firefox uses its own certificate store. Go to Settings, search for “Certificates,” click View Certificates > Authorities > Import, and select the downloaded file, checking “Trust this CA to identify websites”.
1. Click on Download Certificate
2. If the device has a pin code or pattern set, the device will prompt you to enter it. Enter the Pin Code or Pattern
3. Enter a name for the certificate. click OK
4. Go to Security > Trusted Credentials, and click the User tab
5. If the certificate is present in the list of User certificates, then the certificate installed correctly.
