Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the ICMR sponsored Three Days Workshop on Current Trend in Surface Modification Process of Bio-Implants and FEA Application in Orthopaedics. Dr. S.Shankar, Professor, Mechatronics Engineering, Kongu Engineering College, was the chief guest of the event. He focused the importance of biomaterials, bio-implants and FEA application in Orthopedics. Dr.A.E. Manoharan, HoD, Orthopedics, VMKVMCH, has delivered the importance of bio-medical field and knowledge required from biomedical engineers. 60 students were participated in this Workshop.
