The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), successfully conducted the seminar on “What Makes a Mechanical Engineer Employable?” on 23rd July 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Muthayammal Engineering College (Autonomous).
The session was delivered by Mr. H. Venkatesan, Executive Officer, Hosur Technical Training Center, who shared valuable insights into industry expectations, employability skills, career development and the practical competencies required to excel in the mechanical engineering profession.
The seminar enriched the knowledge of students by bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. We sincerely thanked the chief guest for the inspiring session and all the participants for making the event a great success.
