The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a two-day workshop on PIC Microcontrollers, conducted by Mr. V. Sasikumar, Founder and Managing Partner of Mikrosun Technology, Salem. He introduced the features, architecture and applications of the PIC microcontroller in embedded systems, followed by hands-on training in Embedded C programming using MPLAB IDE and simulator. The workshop enhanced student’s knowledge of embedded systems, microcontroller programming and hardware interfacing and motivated them to pursue careers in embedded systems and IoT.
