The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is organizing a Workshop on Digital VLSI Design utilizing Verilog HDL, with Ms. Amsaveni Chandran, Senior Engineer at Tessolve Semiconductor Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, serving as the resource person on 20.09.2025.
Ms. Amsaveni provided the participants with an introduction to the fundamental principles of VLSI design and its comprehensive design flow, establishing a solid foundation for grasping the subject matter. She elaborated on various design concepts and methodologies employed in contemporary VLSI systems, rendering the session exceptionally enlightening for aspiring engineers.
A significant highlight of the workshop was the practical training session conducted with the EDA Playground tool, where participants acquired hands-on experience in designing and simulating circuits using Verilog HDL.
