Seminar on Job Opportunities in Core Electronics Industries

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering hosted a seminar on Job Opportunities in Core Electronics Industries, featuring an expert presentation by Mr. Balajee Seshadri, Consultant at Infineon Technologies, Bangalore. He addressed students on the significance of fundamental knowledge and industry readiness on 18.09.2025.
During his presentation, Mr. Balajee underscored the importance of mastering basic electronic circuits, as they serve as the foundation for all advanced applications in electronics and embedded systems. He also offered an overview of the C programming language, emphasizing its extensive use in embedded system design due to its efficiency and close interaction with hardware.
From an industry perspective, Mr. Balajee shared insights regarding what core companies seek in electronics graduates during interviews. He highlighted that recruiters expect candidates to possess:

• Problem-solving skills and the practical application of concepts.

• A good comprehension of C programming and embedded concepts.
