The Department of Biomedical Engineering, in collaboration with BMESI of Muthayammal Engineering College, hosted a Guest Lecture titled “Future Trends in Ultrasound Technology”.
Mr. S. Kishore, a Sales Specialist at Genworks Healthcare Private Limited in Puducherry, discussed topics such as 3D/4D imaging, the integration of AI, portable and handheld devices, and elastography. Attendees gained insights into enhancing diagnostic accuracy through clearer and more detailed imaging, which facilitates early disease detection and enables real-time evaluation of tissues and organs.
