Dr. M. Surendar, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, NIT Puducherry, delivered a lecture on “5G and Beyond Communication System” on April 8, 2025, at Muthayammal Engineering College as part of the National Expert Talk Series. He discussed the evolution of mobile networks, highlighting key metrics such as latency, throughput, cell density, spectrum availability, and efficiency. He also explained the three major 5G application categories: eMBB, mMTC, and URLLC.
